The event was headed by the President of Paraguay, Santiago Peña, accompanied by the First Lady Leticia Ocampos, as well as the president of Panam Sports, Neven Ilic, and the local organizing committee.
The Minister of Sports, César Ramírez, emphasized that this event “is not a coincidence, but the result of a joint effort, and marks a historic moment for Paraguayan sports as an engine of development and inclusion”.
More than a thousand people worked on the production of this staging, which combined contemporary rhythms with cultural tradition in the “Corazón Guaraní” block.
