Gymnastics is one of the 23 sports that make up the program of the IV South American Youth Games. Youth Games which began this April 12 in Panama City.
Argentina, Aruba, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Curaçao, Ecuador, Guyana, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Suriname and Venezuela will meet in the Canal capital until April 25.
The Artistic Gymnastics competitions begin on Wednesday, April 15 with podium training of the delegations from the Roberto Duran Arena, located in the Irving Saladino Sports City, in the north of downtown.
On Thursday, April 16, competitions will begin at 8:50 a.m. with the classification of Men’s Ground, Harness Horse, Rings, Women’s Vaulting and Asymmetrical Bars in subdivision 1. Subdivision 2 is scheduled to begin at 11:50 a.m.
Friday’s program starts at the same time with subdivision 1 in the Men’s Vaulting, Parallel Bars, Fixed Bar, Balance Beam and Women’s Floor. In subdivision 2, the finals of Men’s and Women’s General Individual, Men’s and Women’s Teams will be disputed. Saturday will be finals day starting at 9:35 am.
