The Salvadoran Gymnastics Federation (FSG) conducted a specialized training base in the trampoline discipline as part of the technical strengthening plan for its national teams.
The activity took place from April 13 to 17 and its main objective was to consolidate the competitive level of the athletes who will represent the country in upcoming international events.
The process was specifically aimed at gymnasts who will be part of the national delegation at the Pan American Championship and Pan American Trampoline Gymnastics Cup in Medellin and at the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, the priority objectives of the current Olympic cycle for Salvadoran gymnastics.
During the training sessions, comprehensive technical evaluations of the routines were consolidated in accordance with the parameters of the World Gymnastics Scoring Code, in force for the period 2025-2028.
To guarantee elite evaluation criteria, FSG was advised by Mexican expert Margarita Zermeño Sobrino, who has an outstanding track record as an international judge and collaborator on regional technical panels, which allowed the Salvadoran athletes to receive precise feedback aligned with the demands they would later face in the Medellín and Santo Domingo venues.
