The 2026 El Salvador Pan American Parkour Open concluded with exciting finals in the Speed and Freestyle categories, bringing together the continent’s top athletes in a competition that showcased the growth and high level of parkour in the Americas.
The star of the competition was Argentina’s Sara Banchoff, who won two titles by taking first place in both the women’s Speed and Freestyle events. Meanwhile, Colombia’s Katerine Valencia also had an outstanding performance, making it to the podium in both events.
A highlight of this edition was Brazil’s participation, as the country competed for the first time in a Pan American Parkour Open. Their debut was outstanding, with two gold medals won by Kevin Gabriel Alves in the men’s Speed event and Bianca Da Silva, who took silver in the women’s Freestyle event, marking a promising start for the country in this continental competition.
In the women’s Speed event, the podium was made up of Sara Banchoff (Argentina), Marlene Coronel (Mexico), and Katerine Valencia (Colombia). In the men’s division, Kevin Gabriel Alves (Brazil) took first place, followed by Carlos Peña (Colombia) and Harley David Bedoya (Colombia).
In women’s freestyle, Sara Banchoff returned to the top of the podium, joined by Bianca Da Silva (Brazil) and Katerine Valencia (Colombia). Finally, in men’s freestyle, Sebastián Antonio Galván (Mexico) won the gold medal, while Máximo Balbuena (Argentina) and Faustino Fuentes (Argentina) rounded out the podium.
