Medellin about to open its doors to Trampoline Gymnastics

The Pan American Trampoline Gymnastics Championships will begin this Thursday, May 21 in Medellin, Colombia, a city that will host the best exponents of the continent in one of the most important competitions of the international calendar.

The event will bring together outstanding figures in trampoline gymnastics, among them the Olympic athlete for Paris 2024, Camilla Lopes, from Brazil, who has become one of the top references in this discipline after winning the Pan American title four times.

The Pan American champions in recent years have been:

– 2021 – Camilla Lopes – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

– 2022 – Camilla Lopes – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

– 2023 – Camilla Lopes – Monterrey, Mexico

– 2024 – Ava Dehane – Lima, Peru

– 2025 – Camilla Lopes – El Salvador

– 2026 – Who will be the new champion?

Another great athlete who will participate in the championship is Dafne Navarro, Olympic finalist in Tokyo 2020 and gold medalist in women’s synchronized swimming with Mariola Garcia.

In the men’s individual trampoline, the presence of Rubén Padilla, Olympic athlete in Paris 2024 and world champion in individual and team double mini, as well as world runner-up in individual trampoline, also stands out.

Medellin is thus preparing to experience a true continental trampoline gymnastics festival, with top-level athletes seeking to leave their mark on the Pan American stage.
