{"id":3644,"date":"2026-02-15T22:04:49","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T22:04:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/upag-pagu.com\/?p=3644"},"modified":"2026-02-15T22:11:32","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T22:11:32","slug":"how-to-register-for-the-usag-2026-pan-american-club-cup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/upag-pagu.com\/en\/how-to-register-for-the-usag-2026-pan-american-club-cup\/","title":{"rendered":"Searching for the UPAG Panamerican Mascot"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color has-small-font-size wp-elements-da6af3784984af259fef9c6bfcc482a8\"><\/p>\n\n<p>The Pan American Gymnastics Union (UPAG) officially opens the call to <strong>design the Official Mascot<\/strong>, a symbol that will represent the Pan American spirit of gymnastics and will accompany all official Pan American Championships in the continent.<\/p>\n\n<p>This mascot will be given as a special recognition to the medalist athletes in the official UPAG championships and will embody our values of unity, inclusion, effort, excellence and Panamerican diversity.<\/p>\n\n<p>The purpose of this initiative is to create an original, inclusive and representative mascot, capable of transmitting the identity of Pan American gymnastics and adapting to multiple formats:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8211; Graphic image<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Official plush toy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Promotional items<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Institutional figure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>The proposal should be visually friendly, appealing and easily recognizable throughout the continent.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Official Launch<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The contest was launched on Sunday, February 15, 2026 and widely disseminated through UPAG&#8217;s official channels.<\/p>\n\n<p>The deadline for submitting proposals is April 20, 2026.<\/p>\n\n<p>The winner will be announced on June 22, 2026, during the UPAG General Assembly, while the official launch of the mascot is scheduled during the Pan American Cup. <a href=\"https:\/\/upag-pagu.com\/calendar\/#:~:text=Copa-,Panamericana,-de%20Clubes%20USAG\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">USAG<\/mark><\/a> in Panama.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Award:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The winner will receive:<\/p>\n\n<p>Special invitation to the USAG Pan American Cup &#8211; Panama, with airfare, lodging and VIP accreditation.<\/p>\n\n<p>Official recognition of the UPAG as the creator of the mascot.<\/p>\n\n<p>International diffusion of its creation in all official events.<\/p>\n\n<p>Possibility of future artistic collaboration with UPAG.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The proposal must meet the following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Original and unpublished design (no copies or copyrighted elements will be accepted).<\/p>\n\n<p>Presentation in digital format (JPG or PNG), in color and with white background.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8211; Proposed pet name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Brief description (maximum 100 words)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Justification of the design and how it represents the values of UPAG.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>The style must be suitable for conversion into plush and promotional material.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>How to participate?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Send the proposal to the mail:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>info@upag-pagu.org<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The shipment must include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8211; Design in digital format<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Author&#8217;s full name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Nationality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Age<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; E-mail and contact telephone number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Signed letter accepting the terms and conditions of the contest (model available on the official website of the UPAG).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Evaluation criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The jury appointed by the UPAG Executive Committee will evaluate:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8211; Originality and creativity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Representativeness of UPAG values<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211; Potential for application in different formats (plush, digital, merchandising)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8211;
