American gymnast Ruben Padilla set a new world difficulty record in the Double Mini Trampoline at the World Cup in Coimbra.<\/p>\n\n

The immediate quadruple back triff pike performance is considered the highest record to date in an international competition, resulting in 31,900 points in total and 13.9 points in difficulty, beating the previous record by almost one point (30,000).<\/p>\n\n

In his social networks Padilla expressed, “after years and years chasing this dream I can finally say that I have achieved this feat, it is something I never thought I would be able to do”.<\/p>\n\n
