“I still can’t believe it”: Ruben Padilla lives his childhood dream with three medals and an all-time record for the U.S. at the World Championships.

U.S. gymnast Ruben Padilla was one of the great figures of the Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships 2025, held in Pamplona, Spain, after winning three medals and making history for his country.

Padilla was crowned world champion in the Double Mini Trampoline with a score of 31.300, his third consecutive world title in this discipline. He also won the team gold medal in the men’s Double Mini Trampoline with teammates Trevor Harder, Simon Smith and West Fowler.

The U.S. talent also stood out in the Individual Trampoline, where Padilla won the silver medal, becoming the first U.S. gymnast to reach the podium in this discipline since 1974. With this achievement, he now has 16 medals in World Championships, consolidating an exceptional career.

In his social networks, Padilla expressed the emotion of this moment:

“This competition felt unlike any other. Winning my third consecutive world title in Double Mini, taking home my second team gold in a row and taking silver in Men’s Individual Trampoline… I still can’t believe it. These moments are what I dreamed of as a kid, jumping for fun, trying new tricks and enjoying the feeling of flying. Representing my country and doing what I love is something I will never take for granted.”

Padilla also noted that he is honored to be the first athlete to win a medal in both the Individual Trampoline and Double Mini at the same World Championships, and the first American to do so in 51 years.

The U.S. team closed an outstanding participation in Pamplona, with more medals in various categories:

West Fowler, bronze in Men’s Double Mini Trampoline.

Team silver in Tumbling, with West Fowler, Kade Brown, Xavier Harper and Bj Mensah.

Women’s team gold in the Double Mini Trampoline, with Aliah Raga, Kennedy Roberts, Gracie Harder and Susan Gill.

With these results, the U.S. delegation reaffirms its position as one of the world powers in trampoline gymnastics.
