Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan, is hosting the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup, a competition with an outstanding Latin American participation, which will come to an end on Sunday, April 12.

As for the results of the Individual All Around, Rin Keys, from the United States, finished fourth with 109.050, followed by Evita Griskenas in 19th place (101.650). The Brazilian representation stood out with Geovanna Santos in tenth place (104.900) and Bárbara Domingos in 14th place (102.350), while Venezuela’s Camila Arismendi finished 57th with 85.900.

Brazil, the United States and Mexico closed their participation in the full ensemble competition in seventh, ninth and thirteenth place, respectively, with 48,350, 44,500 and 41,700 points.

On the opening day, the Brazilian team scored 24,650 points, good enough for fifth place. China dominated the round with 27.150, followed by Japan (26.100), Uzbekistan (25.450) and Kazakhstan (25.300). Rounding out the list of finalists were the two Neutral Individual Athlete (NIA) delegations and Australia.

In the second day of ensemble qualifying, corresponding to the mixed 3 rings and 4 mallets routine, the United States secured its place by finishing sixth with a score of 24.900, Brazil again secured a spot in the final by placing eighth with 23.700 points. China topped the table again (28.750), followed by AIN1 (26.600), Kazakhstan (25.950), Uzbekistan (25.200), AIN2 (24.950), finally Italy (24.700) completed the group of finalists.
