The Rhythmic Gymnastics and Trampoline Gymnastics competitions of the II Junior Pan American Games Asuncion 2025 will begin on Monday, August 11, at the Gymnastics Pavilion located at the National Sports Secretariat of Paraguay.

In Rhythmic Gymnastics the qualifying competition program will consist of four different exercises, hoop, ball and ribbon.

The highest score achieved in the sum of the four scores obtained in each apparatus will determine the champion in the overall individual competition.

The eight teams that qualified for the 2024 Pan American Youth Championship will participate in the competition.

The program consists of the presentation of five hoops and five pairs of mallets.

The competitions start at 10:45 a.m. (Paraguayan time) and this is the schedule:

In Rhythmic Gymnastics, the gold medalist in the overall individual event will obtain direct qualification to the Lima 2027 Pan American Games. This is the only place that will be awarded during this competition.

As for Trampoline Gymnastics, the Women’s and Men’s competitions will take place from August 11 to 12 in the same location.

Individual classification

In the qualifying competition, gymnasts must perform two routines, both of which will count towards the final score.

▪ The first routine includes special requirements (two elements will receive difficulty note), according to FIG rules for age group 17-21.

▪ The second routine is free and includes elements of difficulty.

In Trampoline Gymnastics, the gold medalists in the individual event will obtain direct qualification to the Lima 2027 Pan American Games. One place will be awarded for each gender (two in total).
